I have heard that by flucuating your weight 10%, it increases all the hormones that you need to start a family......it is also why you probably go into a flare. My hormones (and many others here) have a direct coorelation with their hormone levels and flares. One of my worst flares was during my first pregnancy. But, the good news is.....if I work out consistantly, I feel much better. Have you tried just walking every day for 20 minutes? Also, eating less bread and starches and low, low sugar seem to help my UC and my waistline. I wish you the best of luck in starting your family and continues good health.
