I came across the following probiotic product:
"Solgar Multi Billion Dophilus"
It's meant to target the colon rather than the stomach or small intestine. The bacterial strains it contains are
Lactobacillus acidophilus 2.1 billion viable micro organisms
Bifidobacterium lactis 2.1 billion viable micro organisms
Streptococcus thermophilus 550 million viable micro organisms
Apparently acidophilus is really only meant to service the small intestine and not the colon.
Any thoughts or anyone use this product?
Med free for a bit as I needed a break from Asacol
