I would say stay on the Rowasa for a few weeks and then start to taper them once the bleeding has stopped. Let the med do its thing....seems you're in a good situation and that the Lialda is working since your symptoms are not indicative of higher in the rectum bleeding).
When you insert the nozzle, start squeezing some just at the
opening of the anus then continue to squeeze as you push it in, then back again...it'll fill up the rectum with the med to get a concentration of it at the lowest part of the rectum.
Hang tough...the lowest part of the rectum is the hardest to heal. The reason being is that you'll usually have more formed stool going through.
