So I'm left with veggies, fruits, fish, chicken, steak and some other things.
I've been on it 5 days, trust me it's hard if you ask me. You prepare and cook all your meals which is very time consuming. You're limited to honey only as a sweetner. I'm on day 5 still I have blood, but better formed stools. Still I have diarreah.
I'm going golfing on Friday and I'm not currently on any meds. Taking asacol and canasa make me tired and I can't really say what else b/c I dont know if it's the meds or the UC. I'm thinking hard about getting back on ASACOL (again) but should I start now being the golf outing is in 5 days or wait until the golf outing is over? Does the asacol take two weeks to really start working and showing side effects. What have you noticed? I just want to be able to golf with confidence. What would you do?
