I have left sided and by the cecum, is it possible that the ulcers can just be at the rectum since I have no left side pain?

I'm sorry to be asking all the questions. But would you take oral meds if you only have it near the rectum?

Inflammation starts in the rectum and moves upward - for the most part.

So, the inflammation might just be in your rectum right now - in that case, rectal meds would be best.

If you have inflammation at the cecum...if it's not treated as well, the rectal inflammation will be harder to control.

I just have inflammation in the rectum right now, but my GIs tell me to continue taking oral meds as well as rectal meds, to help prevent the inflammation from spreading higher.
