Weird! I had a similar problem recently, in my right shoulder as well. I was about
to jog up the stairs to my apartment, and it felt like my shoulder wanted to dislocate. It really hurt and I had to support my arm so it didn't tug on the joint area. It stopped after awhile and I just attributed to my not so great posture at work [desk job] or something.
Though I do have this annoying thing where my shoulder joint pops in and out of place constantly when I move my arm, if you look at it you can see it move... It really creeps my boyfriend out, haha.
