UC and Crohn's have the most posts out of any disease topic on healing well! Maybe it's because we're all stuck at home with our laptops in the bathroom all the time? ;)

Ha, probably true. I had to quit my summer job b/c of this flare so I've definitely been stuck home, and therefore on my laptop

Ah! I figured I probably wasn't the only one to notice that- guess I should've checked out their forum first :P

I agree though! My boyfriend's always like "Are you chatting with your other boyfriend?" (because I'm on so often, haha) and I just told him "No, I'm chatting with my colitis friends so I don't have to bug you with it!" I know he doesn't want to hear about my bathroom problems... Or more so, I don't want to tell him about them! It took years for me even to say the word 'colon' when describing my disease! Usually I just say "Oh I have a stomach problem".
Nowhere other than here can I comfortably talk about the size, shape, color, and frequency of my bowel movements!!

We are a good and chatty bunch! :-) Better to get things off of our minds than to keep them inside; and chatting with others that know exactly what we are talking about is even better! I mean who can you talk the scoop about poop too....except those who know it best! :-)
