Hi everyone.  I am going in for a flex sig tomorrow.  A few months ago was diagnosed with U.C. One concern was in the biopsy of my colonoscopy, the report says suspicious for dysplasia in a few small foci- they are identified in the area with active inflammation, precluding a definitive assessment.  I am on Asocol and Cymbalta and sometimes Canasa. These meds seemed to be working well.  My symptoms subsided until recently I have had very mild symptoms I believe are related to the stress I've been through with the recent death of my mom. I told the doctor maybe we should wait so there is no imflammation.  He said he really wants to get in there and see what is going on.  That made me nervous again.  I worry about the dysplasia because if it really is dysplasia, I know we will be talking about the posibility of removing the colon.  I do believe in the power of prayer and I felt that those of you who suffer from the same disease would make great prayer warriers.  Please pray that there is no dysplasia and that my UC is fine and not flaring.  I really do appreciate the prayers.  I will keep you posted on the results too.  No matter what happens, I know it will all be O.K.
Thank You!

Stay focus and believe you already healed. Belief it whole heartedly and hold onto that. You're going to be fine! If you feel good, you are good! If don't feel good, well you will again some day. It doesn't rain all the time, the sun will shine again. Talk to your body and your organs tell them to behave and that you love them and ask them to do their job. Speak with love and you share get love.

I too need to say and do this myself more often and I'm hard on myself too. I will say a pray for you and you say one for me!

Thank You

Thank you for your replies.  It really is nice to hear from you all.  I will be praying for you all too.  I have been pretty fortunate so far.  I feel so bad for those of you that are going through so much.  Life is hard.  But I do believe that it is through the hard times that we get closer to God.  Thank you again.  Hang in there!  Let's all keep praying for each other!  Lori
