being diagnosed is very difficult to go through and is very stressful. Maybe the predfoam is adding to it some too. The steriods make me weepy.

When I was in my flare from hell, I remember having to go to the drive through to pick up some enema's and I was just bawling, I was just frusterated and the poor person at the window probably thought I was dying or something.

Been having you told that you are going to have a lifelong chronic illness leads you thru the phases of grief. Many of us have been there and are still there. Hang in there, I know this is not easy. My motto is to take one day at a time and don't think to the future and to appreciate all the good things in my life. I live by this everyday and it helps get me thru. Predfoam, even though a small portion of it actually enters your bloodstream, you are still getting a tad bit of the steroid. It can raise your emotional level as well as make other things go wacky. Maybe a call to your GP is in order, maybe they can prescribe you something for sleep. I know when I don't get a good nights rest, the whole days is off kilter and makes things much more worse then they are.
