i just read a pamphlet that states there is a correlation in low vitamin d levels and people with lupus-also an autoimmune disease.
-i found it intersesting and wonder if it has the same affect on other autoimune diseases such as ibd.
my daughter is also suffering from tiredness and some days can't get out of her own way. her b-12 is low and she just had a shot -i don't know how long that is good for -does anyone have an answer?

I'm most familiar with B-12 shots for pernicious anemia. For that condition, they're given monthly.

My B12 was low recently.  I gave myself B12 injections weekly for 8 weeks.  At the end of 8 weeks my B12 level was checked and it was normal (mid range).  Now I am on monthly B12 shots for maintenence.  I was tired for the few weeks, but I started MTX injections at the same time which could have caused the tiredness.
