Was just wondering if they woould cause any reaction as have been doing the garden and have been bitten by something and it is driving me mad is it safe to take a antihistamine and if not any suggestions as what i can do it is on my arm and has come up as a big lump right wear the sleave of my work unifom comes(short sleave)and i know it is going to drive me crazy doing a 12hr shift
  
  Diagnosed 22.5.08 with Lft sided U/L
  Meds Predfoam 20mg 2x day
  Mesalazine 400mg 2x day

Antihistamines are fine. You can try using Benedryl spray. It works great for bug bites :) Or if that doesn't work, Clariten or Clariten D (may not be as effective though) can work too - it's also non drowsy unlike Benedryl Capsules which can make you a bit sleepy.
