Is anyone on a seasonl type of birth control pill? Now that i'm in remission my UC symptoms are sooo bad during my period! Pain and 10-15 trips to the bathroom...all D. Other than this horrible week I am at 3 of what my body says is normal bms (not so solid but not bad).

So I was wondering if anyone has found a BC pill that minimizes UC symptoms during your period?

I had the same problem with my first flare. I would be in class a total of 2 minutes before I had to race to the bathroom! It sucked! We ended up talking to my primary doctor and he put me on ortho tricyclen lo. Even though it isn't seasonal, it still worked for me :)

I went on seasonique 5 months ago--- first round of pills I had serious breakthrough bleeding. This round so far so good. I am anemic due to UC and period problems but this has helped a little.
