Hi...use the canasa nightly for a while and apply an appropriate butt cream (I like Proctocedyl) to help heal them. If you don't have a 'script
for that, over the counter such as Anusol or even hydrocortisone will help. Zinc oxide might even work....
The point is to use it often.
You should, however, still get it checked out.
I have a fissure I break
open very often...too thorough wiping I guess. Add that to an external hemmie...I can definitely tell when I'm lax at using the external meds. That's where I'm lazy unfortunately.
To insert the canasa...you can wet it with water....makes it a bit easier.

My doc's logic.. "TREAT (FROM)BOTH ENDS" worth it !!!
