....for all your advice and help!  This forum has really helped me the past week and often I found it more informative and helpful than my doctor's office!  Quicker response on here than when I call their office too :)  Things are slowly feeling better each day, still rough at night and in the morning but during the day after I take the Pred things almost seem 'normal' (within reason of what I eat of course). I started taking a stronger probiotic today too hoping that may regulate things a bit.  I've had this disease for quite a long time so I hope I can help any of you as much as you helped me! :)
I'm off for a long weekend in northern MN, and looking forward to listening to the waves on Lake Superior and just relaxing. And no matter how I feel, I am stopping at the fantastic pie shop up there and taking out 1 or 2 pieces of pie! :)

MNBeachgal, I don't think I've formally welcomed you to HealingWell! :-) I'm so glad that you are feeling better, and yes, we have a wonderful group of members who are so willing to help and support each other. Have a great weekend...and enjoy that pie! Sounds yummy!

MNBeachgal, I've seen Lake Superior, but from the Wisconsin shore. I think its beauty and the harmony of being in a relaxing, stress-free atmosphere would offset any potential harm done by a couple of pieces of pie!

Have a wonderful weekend!
