Hi have one of those alfull summer colds that block your nose but still makes it run make all your limbs feel like lead and your head feel all fuzzy sad was just wondering if there are any cold meds other than paracetamol(am from uk so brands might be differant)that would be ok to take and not make things worse,am back at work tues after 3wks off with kidney infection and can't take any more time off any advice yeah
  Diagnosed 22.5.08 with Lft sided U/L
  Meds Predfoam 20mg 2x day stopped started Salofalk supps 1gm 26/6/08
  Mesalazine 400mg 2 tabsx2 day

You can take Claratin during the day and benedryl at night.  I'm from the U.S. though.  Hope you feel better real soon.  Drink lots of water!

Sorry, I don't know what is available to you in the UK. Generally, other than avoiding anything with NSAID's (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen) I think cold meds should be okay for you. Can you check with the pharmacist (chemist?) for his/her advice?
