Great news Tressa!!! Remember that low in the rectum inflammation can cause stomach discomfort...believe it or not...so do stay on the Canasa for sure. Regarding the Asacol....you might try to lower your dosage by ONE pill a week or every two weeks....don't do it any faster.
Seriously, if you push things while your stress level is so high (I don't know any bride who wouldn't be), you'll be more distressed about
But, if you do decide to lower....maybe do so after your wedding...probably best to wait.
You could ask the doctor for a prescript
ion of dicyclomine 10mg (if you need to, you could double it)..but the 10mg would at least give you some relief of stomach and gut spasming...works like a dream for me (for the past 19 years).
