Are we allowed to take OTC gas medications? I know that Immodium is discouraged unless absolutely necessary, but I wasn't sure if there were options for...well, Cajun food, honestly.

Yes, I take Gas-X.

Who discouraged you from taking Imodium?  I know my doctors (both gastro, NP and primary care) said if it helped to get out of the house, etc.  just be sure I used it as directed - which is no more than 4 in 24 hours.  I don't think I could function well without it.  ElaineNY

I like the chewable gas pills, I think they're gas X. The little green tables are also good. I'm a cajun myself and I miss spicy cajun food!!!!
