i've found that it helps me. put some food down behind the pill if you're worried about burping up a fishy taste. i've never burped up the fish oil itself. a fishy tasting burp really isn't that bad, just unpleasant for a second.

If you drink plenty of water with it (as you should with any pills) you shouldn't have issues with the fishy burps.

Hi there,

I take two Omega 3 capsule every day, I have definitley noticed a benefit since taking them.  Make sure you get a capsule that is "Enteric" coated, this means they pass through the stomach before they dissolve so you don't get the fishy tasting burps, it also makes sure that the oil has the best chance of reaching your colon.

You know what's the 2008 summer CCFC journal I recieved today they say research shows taking omega 3 has no benefit to IBD inflammation...I take omegas 3-6-9 myself and will continue to do so because as far as I'm concerned, the proof is in the pudding, not what tests on mice show, afterall we are not mice so maybe for people taking omega 3 is different when it comes to helping with inflammation in the intestines.
