Hey All,
I just joined this site and have to say...love you all for giving all your experiances and suggestions.  I went and bought sunflower seeds.  I hope it helps.  Well I need some help in trying to get to remission.  I was there for a few months and then in the begining of June 08 the UC has been back and I have been weeding off the pred but I am not gaining my weight back.  I am still going 4-5 times a day which is a pain and from everything I have read of this forum it seems that it is possible to get to 1-2 times a day, which seems like a dream to me right now.  Does anyone have any suggestions ideas for me?

Thanks,
Blue5

Welcome! Are you on any rectal meds like Canasa? Forgive me, I am not an expert which drugs are rectal, etc. Anyhow, something rectal may help. Not sure what Lialda is. It is funny, I used to hear that it was not good if you don't have a bowel movement every day. So many people have the opposite problem. Now we have lots of BM's and it is not good either..lol Try eating super healthy, add soinach to yor diet and drink plenty of water. Maybe fiber like Citrucel? Good luck.
