So I had my colonoscopy done two weeks ago and it came back clean. :O) Which is good I guess but now I feel like all the pain and agony I have been going thru since March .. was... was what?? I had really bad right sided pains, false urges, fatigue, joint and muscle pain, back pain.. etc. Is it possible that since I was feeling better by the time I got my scope that it had already healed?? I am just confused. I had all the symptoms of a flare but nothing visable to the scope. I had my bad attack in March and it was July by the time I was scoped.

I was to the GI specialist today who I will be seeing regularly. He kinda looked at me funny when I told him all the pains I had and yet, my scope was clean. He didn't have a lot of answers.. he is foreign and kinda hard to understand in the first place. I explained that I was really in bad shape in March and April and by May and June I was coming around to normal and now I am back to work. I am still really tired all the time, sick to my stomach sometimes and still have right sided pains every other day. My CAT scan showed a build up of poo in my right side... he blames my pains on this. So, he prescribed me Buscopan. Is anyone else taking this?? I didn't pick it up yet so not sure of the dosage. He said to take the pills and drink lots of water and eat more fiber to keep things moving. I have to see him again in 6 weeks.

Any Buscopan stories out there???

so he thinks your pain is constipation? Have you been having D? Over the last few months have you been seeing blood?

No D and only blood on the tissue, that's all.

Hi,

I have crohn's not UC, but I have been on 3 buscopan/day for about 10 years. I have alot of D and the buscopan reduces the muscle spasms in the bowel therefore helping to reduce the urgency of my D. I have never taken more then 3/day, so I don't know what to tell you about that. Touch wood, thus far I haven't had any side effects from it and I do believe it has helped my situation.

Take care
Julia

I wonder if the immflamation has healed. Sometimes I can have alot of symbtoms for a couple of days and then have almost solid normal stools just a few days later. Did he see any hemmi? If so maybe that is where the blood is comming from. Did the pills work yet?

No mention of a hemmi, nope. I called my Dr today and he said to only take the pills "as needed." Which makes more sense. I only had 2 today, this evening, but still have pains. I also had a big supper tho.. so.. not really sure what is going on. Going to take two more pills in the morning if I still ave cramping. :O)
