For those on Remicade: has Remicade worked for a while, then stopped, and then started working again? Remicade worked for 2 weeks, then I immediately went to flare symptoms (a lot of bleeding, mucous, nausea, etc.) for 2 weeks, and then this past week I was in a near-remission phase (almost no bleeding, firmer stools, but still nausea). Yesterday and today was the first time I saw blood in the last week or so.
For those who've taken Colazal: How long did it take for Colazal to kick in and start working? I've been taking it for a little over a month. Is it possible that Colazal could work even when Asacol and Lialda didn't?
B/c of how bad my symptoms were a couple weeks ago, I already withdrew from classes and scheduled my surgery. But if there's a chance that Colazal is actually working, then I might want to rethink surgery. I'm so confused
