I am having a UC flare that started about 6 weeks ago. Just wondered if anyone has tried the makers diet and/or had any success with that. It seems mainly vegetables and that might not really improve the situation. Currently on 40 mg prednisone for the last few weeks which usually brings it right under control, but hasn't so far.

I haven't tried it yet, but I think I am going to start it tomorrow.  I will be following it sort of loosly because I don't want to eat goat's milk cheese or some other stuff.  I will try to follow it for the most part though. Good luck if you try and do it.  I hope you get your flare up under control!

Nope, everything passed right through me (the good foods and the bad), but I never went into remission after a year of severe UC. Surgery was the only thing that worked for me.
