Well, I was lucky for over 9 months, but it's back...
Monday, I went to the bathroom, and filled the bowel up with a bright red fluid.  As, I got scared, and made a noise, my boyfriend came into the bathroom with that "oh, crap, you're bleeding" tone, and before I could flush it away, he saw.
Immedately, he freaked out.  He wanted to rush me to the ER, which I said, 'what are they going to do' and got into a fight that I know how to manage my disease, since I've had it for almost 10 years, blah, blah.
The next four times I went to the bathroom, it was bright red.  But then, it stoped.  The entire day yesterday, I was fine, no blood, nothing.  Today, again, no blood.  Some cramping, but brown stool...
Just about an hour ago, the bleeding is back.  I'm freaking out now, because it had stopped for a whole day and now is back...
I was on a high dose of Vicidin and Soma with codiene for a muscle accident early last week, and although I shouldn't the past few weeks have really been hitting the coffee and beer and vodka a little more than normal.
I don't know if it's from that, or what.  My remicade appointment is on the 2nd, which part of me just wants to wait till then, but I know I shouldn't.  I have a viral and bactrical sinus infection right now, so I am scared that I won't be able to get the remicade, when I know that is what I really need right now...
Need some insight.
My bloodwork two months ago came back good, nothing to report.
What do you all think...

Ugh. Seeing blood again can just drain you emotionally. So sorry to hear it is back.

I suggest calling your doc. Your remi infusion isn't far off, but with a sinus infection things are more complicated. Are you having cramping as well? Could it just be hemis? They do shed a lot of blood and a little blood can look like a lot - which you well know.

Don't wait. Get some Rowasa and Canasa. Treat it at the first symptoms.

Here's your kick in the shin - wake up call (which I usually need when I start flaring): Fix your diet - no excess alcohol, etc. Get enough rest. Take care of yourself. And call your doc for the meds!
