Flares and eye infections

Does anyone else seem to get eye infections with there flares. After a very stressful bank holiday weekend(am in the uk)started a mild flare,the next day my eye was all red and gungey got some drops from chemist for eye as i dont think it's uvitis  confused had that the fist time i flared and does not look or feel the same)but think i might need to go to drs as it is still very red and itchy bm's have calmed downso hoping eye will to,just wondering if it happens to others to U/C is such a funny thing you never know whats going to happen next still learning.
  Diagnosed 22.5.08 with Lft sided U/C
  Meds Predfoam 20mg 2x day stopped started Salofalk supps 1gm 26/6/08
  Mesalazine 400mg 2 tabsx2 day

my eyes are like that off and on but with me it could be allergies more then the UC. wouldnt hurt to have it checked.

synthroid .088 mg, lowpressor 50 mg x 2, cozaar 25mg x2, imdur 30 mg
nitroquick, proventol, plavix 75 mg, protonix 40 mg x 2, asacal 400mg x 9
carafate 1 gm x 4, zyrtec 10 mg, rhinocort aqua nose spray, fish oil,

I never got a eye infection, But prednisone has started to ruin the vision in my left eye.

Went from having 20/20 vision prior to it now I'm at 19/20 and my doctor said the presnisone does it.
