My Jim, DH, did great w/ his prep yesterday and scope this a.m. I am so thankful we had this done. It's a given at his age - he'll be 60 in January - to be diagnosised w/ diverticulosis. But what I am thankful for is there was a pallup in the upper chamber of his colon. The doctor said that it was a good thing we found that one in that it was in a location that if it had turned to cancer Jim wouldn't have had the signs - no pain and by the time they did discover it it would have been one of those too late situations. I am so thankful he had this done and will have to go back in 2 yrs for another scope.
He was soo sweet though - we were waiting for the doctor to come in and he told me he loved me more than breakfast! I roared since of course he hadn't eaten since Saturday evening. I asked him if it was the cocktail they gave him in the veins talking or was it Jim and he said a little of both!
Anyway - just wanted to let you guys know!
