I sleep 6-8 hours and I'm lucky if my sleep aid gets me to the full 8 hours. But I truly don't feel good unless I've had the full 8. Anymore then that, it makes me feel groggy all day too though.

Lol, yeah it's been a long time since I've had more then 8 hours too! I get my full 8 hours I would say about twice a week. It's like my body says, ok! You've had enough let's get some rest! :) I am a chronic insomniac - going on 6 years. So I know about sleep deprivation :(

I have a really hard time getting to sleep for a variety of reasons, so most nights I sleep 4-5 hours. If I'm lucky, I'll get six or seven hours one or two nights a week. I don't remember ever consistently sleeping 8 hours, even as a kid.

jeez, I'm usually asleep by 10:00, at the latest, & up by 6:00. I generally go to bed even earlier, around 9:00! I feel like a dork sometimes, but I'm SO tired, especially after a busy few days or by the end of the work week. I know it's the meds, so I don't feel too badly about abandoning my husband to the couch & tv! My GI's always asking about my energy level too, which is pretty low, & he attributes it to the whole disease process, you know, using more metabolic energy to fight inflammation & such... which is all fine & dandy, but if I don't get at least 8 hours sleep, watch out! I get up 1-2x a night, usually just to pee.
