Boswella may not be common in the US but in Europe many people are having success. I've had colitis 30 years and this is the first time that I have had a flare up. I still don't have blood or diahareah. I'm only having inflamation. 30 years ago when I first had colitis, I ran to the bathroom every 10-1`5 minutes and had lots of blood and mucas. The medicine the Dr. gave me just didn't work.
After seeing Dr. Daniel Hardt, an Nat.path I began juicing cabage juice, then carrot and apple juice and upped my probiotics to 200 billion. I got off of all gluten products. off any types of sugar and red meat. Within a week I was seeing results.
Unfortunately over the years my healthy diet slipped and the last 2 years I have been eating lots of ice cream and other crap, Now I am inflamed again.

There is a lot to be said about thinking out of the box. Whatever works right. I'm going on Naltrexone next week under the supervision of the Dr. My goal is to heal again.

I just started the no gluten diet and using the book, Breaking the Vicious Cycle by Elaine Gottschall.
This diet has helped many.
