Hi there
i know i havent been on this site for a long time, have been hectic busy planning the beeeeeg 30,lol....
anyways, i am scheduled in mid-october for a possible one step j-pouch surgery, depending on what is found when they open me up, they might then have to do it in two steps.
i just want to know of those who have had this j pouch surgery, how have you all experienced it...i have read different experiences on the net, but i would like to know what your take is on it.
take into account that i have had uc for 2 years and have been wearing this colostomy bag for 2 years (most part of my colon has been removed)
i have had mild flare ups within the last two months, but was treated on a small dosage cortisone and other antibiotics.
i am not scared at all as i have left this in Gods hands and i know nothing is impossible with Him, but i want to be as much clued up and prepared for this as ever before.  the last time everything happened so suddenly and i didnt know what was hitting me...at least now i know....
anyways ciao for now :-)
