It's normal for UC, not normal normal.  I have been in a flare since April, hospitalized for ten days in May, still bleeding.   I've been to my GI twice already and to a colorectal surgeon.  All I can do is keep up with my meds and watch my diet.  I took an aspirin (a no no) on Saturday for a bad headache and paid dearly for it Sunday with lots of bleeding, somewhat better yesterday.
All I can tell you is to contact your Gastroenterologist ASAP.  Are you taking any meds?  How is your diet?  Have you had a colonoscopy?  I've had this disease for ten years, hospitalized twice.  I know a lot about it and will help you if I can.

Hi, welcome to Healingwell :) Yes feeling crappy is all part of this disease unfortunately. I second Christine's questions - are you on meds? If so, what?
