so after 2 days in the hospital and a ct scan and ultrasound and a hida scan as well as a mrcp scan I still know NOTHING !!  Before the hospital I was in terrible pain and my liver enzymes adn panceas were way high they gave me antibiotics and did every test I can think of. hida scan showed no ejection rate it was zero at 20 minutes so that seemed to show it wasnt working and one scan showed the walls of the galbladder were grossly abnormal. Still my gi thinks since he cant see anything in there now that i must have passed a galstone so we will just wait adn see if it happens again.  IM so frustrated. Now I live in fear of the pains returning if its not the uc/ chrones hurting its the galbladder very exhausting......  I was running a fever again mon and tues so he said keep close track .

Hi...well, in a way it's a good report, but the fact that you haven't had any obvious diagnosis for the pain could only leave you in more of a quandry.

It's possible you passed a gallstone...

Regarding the gallbladder as being abnormal...did the doc mention strawberry gallbladder?? I have that...it's apparently nothing serious.

Did you get a copy of the reports of all the tests? if not...you should.

Have you not been officially diagnosed with either UC or CD yet? or is it that you have crohn's colitis?

What is the next step for you?

yes I was diagnosed a couple months ago teh dr is not positive if its uc or chrones.

They are guessing maybe I passed a galstone but I was running the fever etc again the other night.

I didi get a copy of all reports and the hida scan showed my Gb was not working but he still doestn want to take it out he wanted to go in an clear out any ducts but the mrcp scan didnt show anythign in there for him to clear out. If my Gb isnt ejecting and the walls of it have cholesterol on it or whatever they called it Im still suprised hes so against taking it out unless he absolutly has to .  One thing that came up in the ct scan is they found a huge fibroid larger than a fist in my uterus. Not sure we will do anything about it but interesting.
