Ugh! I have 2 job interviews this afternoon back to back and I'm flaring! I woke up this am, rushed to work and have gone 5 times so far! I'm just hoping to be cleaned out before the interviews! (No blood, so that's good, anyway.)

Hi TraciZ:

I feel your pain.  I don't have any interviews today, but I do have a full plate and am flaring.  I had a c-scope last Wednesday and had alot of bleeding from that.  Doc said my colon was a mess!  Thanks :), just what I wanted to hear.  He put me on pred. and wants me to think about Remicade.  I only take Asacol now and rectal meds when I can really tolerate it, and that's not very often.  I wish I could do them more because they certainly help.  I will try to get on them steadily before I try remi.  Anyway... today I am flaring again, finally no blood, but I've not been able to do much but spend time in the bathroom, ugh!!   I hope you feel better and good luck on your interviews.  I also live in wnys, outside of Rochester.

Take care,  you are totally not alone.  It's very possible the people you interview with are suffering from some sort of bowel disease and are feeling crappy too!

Hugs,

Karen

Thanks Karen. I'm going to the 1st interview now. I live just north of Buffalo.

I suffered through the rectal meds so I could avoid remi. Now, they're much easier to tolerate. So far, so good: no remi yet.

Plus the stress of going through an interview isn't helping any.  Good luck!  Hope you feel better.

Surprisingly, I'm feeling pretty good now. My flares have been off and on. I've especially noticed them around my cycle. This one was different. I bet it was stress. Hopefully, I'll be ok now. If the asacol fails, my GI wants me to try remi infusions.

Well, i was offered a second interview from the 1st job I interviewed with! Yeah! It's a good fit for me. We really got along well. Basically, the second interview is to meet other staff and to get an understanding of the organization. I think I'll like it there. (I hope.)

The other interview was for a job that was different than I expected, but I did alright on the interview. It was kinda fun, even. They asked me a bunch of questions about what I'd do in "this" situation. I won't take that one.

Thanks for asking! I hope you're all doing great!
