When you are coming off prednisone and your hair is starting to grow back, does your head itch? I'm hoping my hair follicles are kicking back into action and that's what is giving me an itchy head. I developed lots of bald patches and have been off the prednisone now for 3 weeks and noticing my hair is looking a little thicker. Could that cause my symtoms? I'm also using that shampoo with nioxin but I don't think that would cause it... Please just don't let it be lice, I've had enough of doctors and meds to last me a life time

I keep seeing people talking about their hair falling out out prednisone...I've got the exact opposite problem. Hair everywhere on my body seems to grow 10 times as fast! Wish it would target my bald spot, but that would be a useful side-effect.

Seemed so, but colonoscopy Oct. 6 proved not so, heavy inflammation in ascending colon & now recovering from irritation scope caused. Will be using Rowasa again. But I AM better.
