MOVIPREP........is it the same as GoLitely? or the others out there?

The doc a order for MOVIPREP for clean out.  Has anyone used it before and how did it go?

Diagnoised Uclerative Colitis, Dec, 2006 and Pan-Colitis June, 2008
 
Allergic to 5-ASA's, Prednisone for the time but, tapering off
no other med regimen yet.........
 
Still new to this condition with a positive outlook........

I have used both. I don't like either. I had to add sugar to them to get them down. The moviprep is less to drink.

No idea never used Movi prep. . .go litely now that's the biggest oxymoron I've ever heard!

I hated MoviPrep. I could barely get it down without gagging. I made it more bearable by gulping down a whole bunch, and then chasing it with small sips of ginger ale or apple juice to get the flavor out of my mouth. Sorry if my post is kind of a downer. I wish I had something more positive to say about it. Sorry!
 
PS.  I also did Go Litely once and found it to be about the same taste-wise.

DX:  Pancolitis as of 9/08 (Proctitis as of 1/08)
Current Treament:  Asacol 1200 MG 3X daily, Cortenama 100 ML nightly, Iron 325 MG 3X daily, Zoloft 50 MG daily, Bentyl 20 MG as needed.
Diet/Exercise:  Spinach/sunflower and low-residue.  Yoga and walking.
Previous Treatment:  Canasa suppositories, Cortifoam, Prednisone, Colazal, Symex DuoTabs, Rowasa.
Status:  Flare

I get to do Movi Prep this sunday. So I guess Ill find out then. Ive done go lytley though about 4 times. I think it should be renamed to Go Heavily.

It tastes nasty, so I just gulp it down and try not to think about it.

I just prepped with Moviprep--- well you asked-- it was horrible. I gagged everytime I drank it. The only good thing I can say is that the amount is about half of the Golightly.
