Although some of us can tolerate NSAIDS such as aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen, generally it's recommended we try to avoid them. You definitely should talk to your doctor, especially since they bother your stomach. In your case, an enteric coated form that dissolves in your intestine wouldn't be a good choice because you already have problems there.
Tylenol is surprisingly good for pain relief sometimes, but it doesn't reduce inflammation. Talk to your doctor about
this, and also ask your GI about
the advisability of taking NSAIDs.
