I saw Dr Cheifetz from about 2004-2006 while I was attending college in MA.  I found him to be helpful and willing to listen.  I wish at that time in my life I was more proactive in helping myself b/c I feel he would have been a good doctor to work with, but the college lifestyle was my downfall into a rough couple years.  It wasn't until about a year ago that I finally got closer to home and started working towards getting healthier.  I think you've made a good choice and wish you the best.

24yr old male, diagnosed October 2003
9 Colozal/Day, 100mg 6-MP, Rowasa Enema nightly
1200mg fish oil/omega3 capsules/3x daily, 2 probiotics capsules/daily, 1mg folic acid
