Hi everyone...

Been pretty absent lately even though I'm flaring my "arse" off... (pardon the pun)..  Been having maritel issues and going back and forth with that, now I'm back at home living with hubby but in seperate rooms, which actually works for me right now. (Anyone who is having maritel problems should go see the movie "Fireproof")  Anyhow, My problem is dealing with all this and trying to get my flare to subside.. It's been odd, somedays better than others, some days I hardly notice the bleeding and then tonight.. WHAMO.. Blood, clots... total grossarreah... lol.  So I started the Rowasa since the Canasa didn't do the trick and I'll give that a week or so to see what happens....

Definitely sucks Susie...you should consider to be on Asacol as well as the Rowasa nightly.

Were you on the Rowasa for maintenance and the Canasa daily?

Hope you feel better soon!

The stress of marital problems on top of a UC flare is tough. I feel for you, as I've been in your shoes. Hope your situation will improve soon. I found that type of stress to be very detrimental to achieving remission.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis spring 1999.

Maintenance dose sulfasalazine.
Probiotics, l-glutamine and fish oil caps. George's aloe vera juice. Oregano oil antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal. Long-term remission with only minor blips.

Hello everyone...

I have been doing a little better lately and I'm still living at home. I've decided that I'm NOT moving out and if he wants to someday get a divorce, HE can be the one to move out.... I'm sick of always being the one ousted and I'm not going to do it anymore.

But, for now things have been a bit better. We still have ups and downs, but he actually went to Church with me today for the first time in a long time and it was an awesome service.... Who knows what the future holds, but for now things are just ok, not horrible at least...

Some GREAT news... I'm leaving on Wednesday to go see my son graduate Basic Training from the Army. I'll be flying to South Carolina and seeing him on Thursday and Friday, then flying back home Saturday.

He's come a long way and I'm so proud of him...

I'm still flaring but my symptoms are getting much better and the blood is mostly gone now.

I'll let you know how South Carolina goes!      ~Susie
