I think sleep helps the body heal. Sleep seems help my body a lot. I have very bad arthritis and if I sleep like 8 hours a night I wake up feeling way better. I can function fairly well with 6 or 7 hours of sleep but I think the extra hours really help.
Another example are my cuticles. I pick at them a lot and after a good nights sleep they seem to have healed themselves in the morning. At night there could be pieces of loose skin on them but in the morning everything is smooth almost perfect.
I'm a big sports fan and it's too bad a lot of good games are on the tv so late...:)

I agree w/ you sleep heals everything emotionally and physically. Unfortunately, for me, I am also going thru the change of life (count my blessings to live to this stage of life! LOL) but I suffer from insomonia because of the change of life. When I do sleep all night I celebrate!

Here's to a good nights sleep!

I need at least 9 hours of sleep. I'm exhausted if I get any less, sometimes still exhausted if I get more. This DD has killed my energy level.

It is crazy because I have to be in bed at least 9 or 10 hours to feel half way decent. of course I dont sleep that long because I wake up several times threw the night. but if I dont get to let my body rest that long I feel like I can hardly drag my body around all day. And even with getting that much rest half way threw the day I am tired again. Even in remission I feel this way.
