My doctor upped my Canasa from once a day to twice a day which is fine.  I am having one problem.  As we all know the morning is the worst time for most of us.  I have a hard time keeping the morning suppository in - I have played w/ it if you will.  For example, I waited 2 hours after waking up in the a.m. and pop it came out!  Today I just inserted it 17 minutes ago and I can already feel t hat it is not going to stay.  I don't have problems w/ my evening dose.  Only other thing I can think of trying is laying down for about 30 minutes after insertion in the mornings.  That works for me except Tuesday and Thursday as I work those two days.  Any suggestions?

You can try setting your alarm for 30 minutes earlier then when you get up, keep a Canasa by your bedside and then insert it before getting up. Or, if you shower in the morning - insert one before you head in the shower. Being in the warm water may take your mind (and body) off the supp. and hopefully it will stay. You can even insert it before heading out to work. If you drive to work, the act of driving and sitting may keep the supp in.

This might be gross but, are you sure youre getting it far enough up there?

I was using canasa twice a day for my first flare and I found that I had to uh really shove it up there....

Good luck!

I simply dose myself in the afternoon and bedtime instead of morning and bedtime.
