Hi,I'll be travelling overseas in a month. One of the meds I take is Rowasa, which is in liqid form.I want to take it with me on the plane, instead of checking in it. Can you advice me on whether liquid meds can be taken on the plane even if they are more than 3 oz limit. Thanks. Carlos. turn

Somehow I doubt it...but truly don't know regarding the new rules.

Have you contacted the airline?

It'll be interesting to know for sure...

I've taken Rowasa onto the flight and it isn't a problem. You'll just have to fish it out at the security gate and since each vial is less than 3oz, they wave you through. The box will have to be new and sealed. If you have an open box, I'd recommend placing each vial into a separate regulation plastic bag. And carry your prescription with you, just in case. Well, at least in the US. I'm not sure what the regulations require or how they are practiced in other countries.
3x400mg Asacol, 3x daily
Rowasa enemas
Bee propolis
Flora-Q (probiotic)
Multi-Vitamins
Tylenol, 1000mg/headaches
