slowly started to feel better. wasn't sure if the endone or maxalon was making me feel ill!
still off food. was strange not having bag to clean or change.
surgeon started the day by asking if i wanted to go home!
i thought i was a bit underdone so i decided not to. another patient who had the same procedure on the same day did. still off food and passing bile instead of normal stuff.
surgeon told me -
drinks will go straight through me and discourage absorbtion from new plumbing
hold it in!
home! still improving and in spite of still being a bit underdone took the plane home. really hard to get rest in hospital even in a single room! having slight continence problems. went grocery shopping!
finally starting to get some appetite back. amazing how much you an do so quickly after the operation. If i had been fitter before it, i am sure that by now i would have no trouble doing just about everthing that did not involve heavy pressure on my abs.
Gonna sign this post off. A trip that was first hinted to me about 14 years ago has been completed. I am pretty confidant that i made the right decision.
