Does anybody ever get fat droplets on the surface of the toilet water after pooing? I don't know if it's the sunflower seed butter I'm eating or what. I started using Canasa not too long ago as well.
Proctosigmoiditis up to 25 cm
Colazal 3 caps 3 times a day
Hydrocortisone enemas AM and PM for next two weeks
Canasa suppository for lunch (for my butt)
Rowasa enemas nightly after hydrocort enema regimen is completed
Celexa 20mg daily
Fish oil, milk thistle, Ultimate Flora critical care probiotic, Alive multivitamin, lysine
Spinach and sunflower seed plan

It could be the canasa, or just mucus.

My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)

Sometimes I get funny yellow goo type stuff--not mucous. I've been told that this is fat, but I'm not sure.
So, I'd say probably yes I get fat droplets occasionally but I don't know what brings them on.

Suffered for my whole life before being diagnosed.

Told to "Eat more fibre "

Currently on:

1500mg x 4/day
Entocort 6mg once a day
Imuran 150mg once a day

If it's white and oily looking then more then likely its the Canasa but if it looks more like snot then it's mucous.

With me, it's the salofalk.
Dx:  UC Proctitis 2006
Meds:  None so far. Garlic works to ease flares. My GI laughed when I told him and said it was just coincidence.
Started Meds:  Apr 9 08 500mg 5ASA (salofalk) to ease flare, tapering, stopped.
Diet:  Regular fresh garlic, Biobest yogurt daily, Omega 3 supplements, very limited junk food, carbs and processed food, low fat diet.  Lots of fresh fruit and veggies (limited potatoes).
 Added: tumeric and probiotics.

when I was flaring and then right before I would go in to remission the mucus that was on my stools would get yellowish tan and get kind of lumpy thick and stringy, the yellow lumpy mucus was always a sign that my colon was healing and I was heading towards remission. I dont know if this is similar to what your describing or not
