     I love spinach, but where to you purchase sunflower butter?
62 yr old granny. South Jersey
Diagnosed with ulcerative proctitis in 1998 in hospital
Hospitalized (2nd time) in May 2008
Update 11/03/08...finally in remission!!  Hope I don't jinx myself.  Off the prednisone since 11/01/08...now see if I can stay off for longer than two weeks.  Other meds: 6MP (75 mgm), colazal (6 per day), Benicar and Toprol (high blood pressure meds), Probiotic (2 per day), fish oil capsule and multi-vitamin and calcium with vitamin D.

I got mine this weekend at whole foods near the peanut butter.
ulcerative proctitis - march 05 diagnosed
current status - trying to see what works - still bleeding!!!!!
hospitalized - 3/08 for 6 days of IV steriods
colazal - 9 pills  asacol - 12 pills, canasa 2x per day, nightly hydrocortisone enemas
VSL#3 Primal Defense Ultra Probiotic (2x per day)
fish oil, flaxseed oil, calcium w/ vitamin d 2x a day, prenatal vitamin plus extra vitamin c and b12 complex

I order mine from www.sunbutter.com. My son is allergic to peanuts so he eats this instead of peanut butter.

 


Lialda 3 tablets  daily
Remicade every 8 weeks
Folid Acid daily
Methotrexate 3 times a week
Align Probiotic

Publix supermarkets in Florida have it with the peanut butter.  Someone on here also said they have found it in the organic foods section.

My regular grocery store sells 2 brands....Sunbutter and their own store brand...they are in the peanut butter aisle
Be aware....expensive compared to peanut butter
A small jar costs me $5.19 and lasts about a week
Newly diagnosed August 2008
Currently on 15mg prednisone, 12 Asacol per day, Mesaline enema nightly,Multi vitamin, Omega 3 and Calcium
Realizing that disease is a real pain in the ass!
Mother of a 5 year old and 12 old trying to get through each day with a smile on my face!
