Hi Sick Colon, and welcome to HealingWell! We are happy to have you join us, but not happy that you are dealing with this lovely illness. Of course, you'll find a lot of good support and suggestions here. We all know what you are dealing with. Sounds like you are on quite a few meds; has the Remi helped at all? Again, welcome....please share your experiences with us, and of course, feel free to ask us questions. We are all in this together! Take care, and again welcome!
Hello Loneylane, thanks for the warm welcome, I've been on Remicade since september 2005, I was told that I was one of the first in Puerto Rico to receive Remicade for UC, it helped a lot (saved me from surgery), but lately I haven't doing so well, I was put on 40mg prednisone the 20th of november and the 26th i'll get checked at the IBD clinic here in PR, i hope that they lower a bit the pred, since I'm going less (about
6 - 8 BM) to the bathroom than before i was on pred (about
15 + BM), i still have blood in stool and a bit of cramps when going to the bathroom, I also started Rowassa last night and saw less blood on my stool, I really hope to be on remission soon
i don't want to spend my holidays like these.
