sounds like possible gasssss....which can be sometimes be caused by low in the rectum inflammation. Do you have any rectal discomfort upon bms? are you having more "constipated" kind of bms?
Sometimes adding a fibre supplement can help to get things moving through your system faster, unless you have diarrhea, it can slow it down.
What was the diet you were on?...can you expand on what you've been consuming? did you take any supplements, etc?
are you on any artificial sweeteners?
Are you ovulating or near your period?
I hope your doc will be able to help pinpoint your discomfort and have you feeling better soon. I know the pain you describe, and for me, it's gas.
I can look back about
6 - 12 hours and pretty much know what the culprit was. But, if it was constant after eliminating a culprit, I'd know soon enough if it was early symptoms of rectal inflammation.
At that point, I'd increase rectal meds.
