I'm sort of in the same boat with my Gma. She doesn't have Uc but she does have diverticulosis with intestinal bleeding from weakened intestinal walls due to radiation treatments for cancer. I watch her have D with blood along with cramping and many doctors don't want to do much for her other then keep her comfortable because of her advanced age (she's 89). Does your mother at least take any medication?
