My hubby has to go for a colonoscopy tomorrow and he forgot his prep instructions at work

He is taking something different than I, it is:

Phosphate Solution by Pendopharm.  I know he is suppose to mix some with a glass of water, then drink so many glasses of water during specific intervals.  Has anybody taken this??

Dx:  UC Proctitis 2006
Meds:  None so far. Garlic works to ease flares. My GI laughed when I told him and said it was just coincidence.
Started Meds:  Apr 9 08 500mg 5ASA (salofalk) to ease flare, tapering, stopped.
Diet:  Regular fresh garlic, Biobest yogurt daily, Omega 3 supplements, very limited junk food, carbs and processed food, low fat diet.  Lots of fresh fruit and veggies (limited potatoes).
 Added: tumeric and probiotics.

I haven't but you could probably call his doctor or call a pharmacy and they should know what to do.
27 Year old married female law student (last year!!). Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night. I also take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

thank Fitzyk23, they are closed. He drank the solution and is going to continue to drink a glass of water every 15 minutes or so.

hopefully that will do the trick. It should at least be good enough. Put it this way, I had a colonoscopy without any prep at all as it was a kind of last minute emergency one cos I was in pretty bad condition. And infact even tho I ate just a few hours before it (I only got 2 hours warning I was having Colonoscopy) and because my colitis was spewing things out at such a rate, my gut was empty and clean (apart from blood and mucus)

so if he takes stuff and drunks lots of water and doesn't eat, then I'm sure he will be clean enough inside!
