I take it.  It is fine for UC.  My GI actually told me to take it rather than vicodin.  I also have arthritis in my spine, so I take tramadol regularly.  Hope this helps!  Hope you feel better soon!

Tramadol is on the safe list of meds for Uc. I, unfortunately, can not tolerate Tramadol - even at the lowest dose. It gives me severe stomach pains and makes me throw up, dizzy and shakey but I have allergic reactions to many types of pain meds.

I take tramadol and it does help.It has some nasty side effects if you take more than 4 a day i have found.I get very shaky, hyper and can not sleep.Do not take caffeine along with tramadol or you will be awake for a long time:):) iT also causes intense itching, especially in your legs.

I've taken with no problems for arthritis in my spine. Usually Arthritis Tylenol is fine, but if it's really bad a couple of Tramadol knock it back. If you take too much you may get itchy.

I don't have any bad effects from it. It doesn't cause constipation either.

Sorry i forgot.Constipation is the most common side effect and it causes c almost after i take my first pill. This is something to keep a very close eye on. I can't believe some people take them with no side effects, they are so lucky. They are a necessary evil though for me.
