i hate this disease, one min. i think i'm getting to feel symptom free and the next day it's back i want to get to full remission. the urgency in the mornings as soon as i wake up and the cramping,i'm sick and tired of it.one day my BM looks like it's trying to get solid with some mucus then the next day it's back to mush with mucus. i hurt in my lower back with gas,i just want it to end, for awhile anyways.i'm even tired of being nauseated that comes and goes. sorry just needed to vent alittle.

i was diagnosed with uc on april.16,2003. had my sec. colonoscopy on aug.22,2007 came back normal.

still mildlyflaring.

i also take nexium 40mg once a day for acid reflux.

take one multivitamin a day

hi pamela, i know exactly what you mean your not alone, it effects things you want to do and you agree to do something with friends cause your tummy seems fine then it just changes, i try to ignore it and carry on but sometimes it gets you really down, this past year seems to have been the hardest too. do you have supportive friends and family?? remember though to just try and smile cause your stomach and mind a very closely related!! turn xxxxxx

I totally understand where you are coming from. it is so sucky sometimes. I just want to sit in a dark room and cry, but I try to stay positive and remember that it could always be worse.

and as a pharmacist, I hear from patients complaining every day about silly things and I want to yell at them, "you dont have any issues.. stop complaining about your sore finger, etc"

but then I remember that there are many people worse of than me... at least I can still work and I can still have fun.... etc/
