The last several days I have felt extremely fatigued.  I know it isn't due to the Christmas rush or anything like that because I finished up my shopping weeks ago.  Was wondering if it is related to my very low white count...2.6 .  On 50 mgm of 6MP.  I have been taking this drug for five years and my white count never dipped that low before.  Doctor didn't request another blood count for at least two more weeks.  Maybe I should go for the count next week?

Update 11/03/08...finally in remission!!  Hope I don't jinx myself.  Off the prednisone since 11/01/08...now see if I can stay off for longer than two weeks.  Other meds: 6MP (75 mgm), colazal (6 per day), Benicar and Toprol (high blood pressure meds), Probiotic (2 per day), fish oil capsule and multi-vitamin and calcium with vitamin D.

Christine, I am sorry that your so fatigued. I don't know anything about the counts as I have been fortunate, so far. I do take a B12 everyday like Pancake. Anyway, I hope you feel better soon and Merry Christmas!

It could very well be. Are you eating enough protein foods? How about iron rich foods?

I would definitely give the doc a call that you're concerned about feeling that fatigued. It's not normal.

Could be not enough protein foods.  I felt a lot better today.  I noticed my multi vitamin contains iron, thought it didn't.  See how I feel tomorrow.

Low counts can definitely make you feel tired. See if you can get a B12 shot.

Low vitamin D can cause fatigue as well....I hear that it takes forever to get one's test results back.

Christine...are you taking vitamin D?
