My doctor has me takin my rowesa enema just before bed. Now I normally can only retain half and then only for about 20 minutes to an hour till I loose some of it.  Now my question is with it being New years Eve, I stand a good chance of forgetting to take it tonight due to the late hour.  Should I just try to remember them for that late?  Or should I take them early like around seven.  And then go to party around nine? After loosing whatever I'm going to loose.

Just use one this morning. I RARELY do a whole one even while flaring. I always use half, as it's just easier to hold it in. I always thought it would work better if I would just use half and retain all of it rather then use a whole one and poo most of my money out. Plus it stretches out the box too. Have FUN!!!!!!

If you feel comfortable using it at 7 p.m. and then going out, I would do that. But Dr-A's suggestion would work, too. Or you can try to remember when you get home later. I guess it really depends on what you want to do. Missing one day shouldn't make a huge difference either I wouldn't think, but try to do it if you can. Happy New Year!

happy new year to you also, sara14..... my onlyproblem Is that I know I forget if its to late. Have done it before. And I want to try to be so diligent to this. I want to get better. Its just I hate these things. and I unconsciously foregt but meds on occasion. Not wanting that to happen tonigght. Am doing so good. Think I will try to do it around 7, since I can't retain them all anyways.... whats the harm. whatever I retain will still be up there working, right?
and I always try try to have fun DR A...... just sometimes this dang disease gets in the way. LOL

Sounds like a good plan, unclebubba. Yeah, if the medicine stays up there, it should still work even if you're up and moving around.
